Is Solar Power Heating Up?
With the focus on the high cost of energy, alternative ways to heat and cool your home are gaining traction. But are they finally going to become affordable? Money reporter Stacy Johnson has an update on one of the brightest ideas: solar.

Hopefully the solar power movement gets going. Wind, solar and other alternative energy methods are beneficial to not only the consumer but also to the planet and everyone else who lives on it.
Solar power and wind power will eventually be widely used and people will realize the benefit of using alternative heating and cooling options. I know a lot of people argue for the building of big wind mills but i bet they complain and argue a lot more when they get their heating/cooling bill each month.
I suggest there could be a mini solar power generator or wind mill in every household to compensate at least their household electric needs during power shutdowns. People who are expert in this field should come forward and take an initiative to teach how to set up those things. – Mike
