Google Hooks Up Houses with Solar Power
Google added another green badge on its sleeve with its announcement of a new $75 million investment that would help homeowners install solar power systems. This is the search giant’s second investment into residential solar installations.
White House Still Solar Panel-Less
Last October, the Obama administration announced that it plans to install solar panels on the roof of the White House. This would be the 30 years after the solar panels installed during Jimmy Carter’s rule were taken down. The target date for the installation is in spring.
